Looking at a set of lime green taylor 8.0 wires and am wondering if anyone has ran a set of these. should they be ran with a dui set up or can you run it on the original hei set up. i have a 360 pretty much stock and m thinking about these. a little imput would help...
You can run pretty much any ignition with those wires. The whole premise is that those wires have very little resistance, thus they will transmit MORE power to the plug. If you have a high power ignition, it will get to the plug, were if you ran a small wire it would be lost.
Unless you are getting them really cheap, or you just need lime green wires I probably wouldn't get them. But that's just my opinion(take it for what you paid for it). I run my race car(428ci), making 550 hp on stock $10 Autozone wires. So, I'm just not a firm believer that spending BIG $ on a set of wires will be worth it, especially on a stock motor.
