I want to switch my headlights on my 2004 to the 2005-2007 headlight set-up and wanted to see what needs to be modified? I searched but din't find any clear answer.

I believe people have installed the 05+ headlights by just cutting the header panel.

 

We'll hopefully have an article up pretty soon about doing the swap. I was hoping it would be posted already but I guess the people that do that have been busy.
Basically it involves cutting out a bunch of the header panel behind the lights like this......

and also changing the headlight connectors.
