Gauge clusters interchangeable?

I'm wondering if i can get a gauge cluster from a 94 ranger with a tach and swap it out with the one in my 94 without a tach. Are the plugs the same on the backside of the cluster? Anyone tried this. Will it just plug in and work or will i need to make up some wires? Thanks!!

A wiring schematic would help out here.

As for concrete proof that I do not know.

Maybe this post should be in the electrical section.

Sweet, hopefully the swap will work on my truck! Thanks Dude!! I haven't started the swap yet but i'm gonna hopefully once it gets a lil warmer.
