I dunno man, that thing looks like its hiding something. hard to tell with the pictures of teh front, but it looks like the hood rusted which could be very ugly. the bed is pretty smashed, floor's all warped, and the welds holding the rails down have just about all let go. looks like some rust in the door frame corners.
i don't knoiw if you've ever crawled under your dad's 66, but they had a really stupid floorpan design and reinforcment that actually begged for rust to start, which, if bad enough would destroy all hopes of fixing the cab.
if it ran, it might not be half bad, but it seems scary/weird that they have not started it, if they have a towing company, they should have an idea about how to work on it don't you think?
Nice truck, but the box sure looks abused. A rare thing on it is the tool box on the side of the box. Very few were made then. It looks like its had a tough life, but shows potential to be restored. Box is the question.
is the toolbox rare? if so, i wish i had kept mine......shucks, always the midnight auction......
I'm gonna go against the flow though, i much prefer the 65 grill over the 66. althought one of the eralier slicks (61-64) has a grill that i like, can't think of which one at the present time though.....
