Maybe?....351...352... almost the same right? Do the heads and intake join under the valve cover? With the "352" identifier is sounds like a FE of some sort.

you dont have to look under the valve covers. Does the intake manifold and cylinder head meet before the valve cover or under the valve cover. You can see it with the valve cover in place. How many bolts hold the valve cover on? 5 is the magic number for an FE.

It's a FE of some sort. You can measure the stroke and see if it's a 3.50 352/360 or a 3.78 390. You'd need to pull and head and measure the bore to see if it's a 4.00" or 4.05" to be exactly sure of what you have.
The 352 has a 4.00" bore and a 3.50" stroke.
The 360 a 4.05" bore and a 3.50" stroke
The 390 has a 4.05 and bigger 3.78" stroke.

By measuring the stroke you'll be half way there. If it runs good check the stroke and leave it. If and when you ever rebuild or repair it you can see what the bore size is.

FE engines are pretty generic and you need to dig a bit to see what's inside. The '352" you see on the block was used on 352,360,390,410,427 and 428's. It just a foundry identifer that will more or less tell ya it's a FE. It does not mean the engine is a 352 as you'd think.

And to add the 410 has a 4.05 bore and 3.98 stroke.
The 427 a 4.23 bore and 3.78 stroke. Crossbolt maincaps also.
The 428 has a 4.13 bore and 3.98 stroke.

Just incase you strike gold.....

That is how far the block cyls has been overbored for oversize pistons. As the engine cyls wear over time this makes a ridge at the top, or taper inside, scratches, chips, pitting and other things also. These imperfections need to be machined back to a nice smooth and even cyl surface. That called boring the cylinder. So say you start with a std bore 4.05 cyl. You over bore it by .010 (normally) each time as the block needs bored out again. If there is further damage that needs more the shop will bore until a nice cyl finish is possible. Then you need pistons to match the new cyl bore. So your cylinders have been overbored by .060. That about the limit on most blocks too. There is lots more to it but that's the basic idea.
