Steering question
How hard would it be to convert a manual steer to power steering in a '66? I'm looking at purchasing a 1966 car hauler that is in great shape but has manual steering. Personally for something that big power steering or power assist would be a lot easier to handle and maneuver. Any sites I could check out or...?

When I changed over to PS,PB @ TILT WHEEL The swap of the manoual to power was ez. If you use a ps eng perch on the driver's side will enable youi to unbolt your old steering box you rebolt your poser box up using the same 3 long bolts and since you replaced the eng stand witih one that is bent forward and will clear the ps box which is a litte longer without modifying any thng the hood.I used a stand from a 74 which had ps and a 360/390 eng, You will need the brackets and a new pump for a 79
truck w/ps. It will surprise you how ez it is. My old 66 drives fine.

What model is the Car Hauler you're looking at and is it a single I Beam front axle with leaf spring suspension or Twin I beams with coils? I 'd need to know that befor I can respond with an answer to your querey on P/S.
