460 belts
Hey I have a 74' 460 for my truck, but it only had the altinator, and its belt going to the crank pulley. The engine also has the waterpump(and pulley of course) and I have all the other pulleys to attach to it, but i have no clue how the belt/pulley set up is. could someone send me a link to where i can find this or tell me how it is set up. Thanks for your help everyone!

you should be able to just bolt the pulley to the water pump, and run both the water pump and alternator off the same belt, and use the alternator adjustment for tension. do you have a 2 belt pulley on the alternator and waterpump, or just a single? are you running power steering?
