ok i don't mean to be harsh but there are too many people starting threads in here about trucks that are twice the age of me, put that thread in a more appropriate section, this section is for the upcoming changes to the new F-150

This Section seems to be Titled 1961-1966 and larger f-series trucks.
Right on Scifi, tell Ford- 150 to suck an egg and check what thread he is in lol. Last time I checked this section was named 1961-1966 and larger f-series trucks.I bet it was just a mistake hahaha.
Need the insulator (motor mount) and the engine perches for the 302. The bell housing should be the same. Will need the 302 flywheel. Seems within last few days another member posted simular topic, may want a run search in this forum (61-66) for additional info.

Yeah Scifi
I agree & concur with Avtec completely, Let F-150 go "suckanegg" in comemeration of Easter or something! Besides there are no 61-66 F-150s anyway. F-150s are a half breed between F-100 & F-250 that happened in the 70s.
What my compatriots have told you is square business. The mid 70's, 302 mounts, and engine perches, or frame stands in some vernaculars, are what you need and so is the Flywheel [or flex plate if you're an A/T.]
Today i was at picknpull and pulled engine brackets out of a gutted 74 f250, in the back there was a 390 and i'm not sure if that was in the truck or not, will they still work?
HI Scifi266, I am doing the same swap. and I can tell you IF the truck u pulled the motor mounts from DID NOT have a 302 in it> U mite have got the wrong ones I will post PICS of the ones I bought to compare yours to. Good luck with your truck.
