Monsta, i replace my ball joints all the time. (every 30k) I replaced them 1200 miles ago with moog greaseables. They are alot better then the stock new ones.
I thought those bushings might be the problem with the popping....so these are easily replaced? Seems like the link bushings might be part of it also. Thanks for the info
I didn't even break a sweat while my dealer replaced them.
I got pops while I was going over bumps, but I would think that if you are getting pops when changing into forward or reverse it may be a different problem. Possibly the ball joints. The sway bar shouldn't be under any stress in those conditions.
When I look at the links form the sway bar, seems like there is not much bushing at the top end of either one. The sway bar bushings themselves look ok though.
I will have to check the ball joints next time it up in the air.
