Those Kool Vue mirrors always seem to shake really bad while you're driving. My boss has one on his truck and I recently put one on mine and they shake so bad you can barely make out the vehicles behind you.

 

Made in CHINA crap....Pay a little more and get the true FORD OEM ones. Worth every penny.

 

I'm glad I did a search on mirrors. I just bought a used 2001 F250SD with the 7.3L and it has the small sport mirrors. I thought that these aftermarket mirrors would work.

I pretty much assumed that they'd be chinese junk and it looks like my fears are confirmed. I hate china made junk !

Wow...you revived an oldie here. Not sure you noticed, but the last post here was from Feb 2012...almost 5 years ago. Just FYI.

they are power folding power telescoping

and with the us dollar - it was way cheaper

 

For me, the real advantage to the newer mirrors is the huge spot mirrors. I installed them on my 2002 7.3L F350 CC SB. I found power folding telescoping OEM mirrors used on CL. One of the forums had pictorial instructions for wiring them to nice little window toggle switches mounted just to the left of the steering column. I just traded that truck in for a 2015 6.7, so I still have the nice spot mirrors!
