wanting some more power...
right now ive got an 83 f250 with a 300 I6 thats got a bad oil burining problem...and a bad headgasket. so i think it time to upgrade just wondering what would be the cheapest engine swap i could do (im on a tight budget). looking on moving up to a v8 of course.

351 w would be your cheapest deal, all you would have to find is frame,engine mounts rad,flywheel. the 351 will bolt to your bellhousing. a 302 will be the same as far as swaps go but in my opinion a 302 souldve never been installed in a full size truck
