Did you get it off Ebay? There was a nucklehead that was selling them that did not work very good. I would check with Ed or Clay in my signature.

Im guessing the sensor is good. Could be bad but I doubt it. Its probably a wiring problem or you're not getting enough pressure from your hpop. The icp needs to be about 500psi while cranking for the pcm to fire the injectors. It will start with lower pressure but only with the icp unplugged. You need a scan tool such as AE and also a mechanical guage to compare pressure the icp says to actual pressure.

On edit. So just to clarify it starts fine with the old one plugged in but the new one needs to be unplugged? I must have missed that the first time I read it

my old sensor works just was replacing it for piece of mind and saving old for a just in case thing. my truck runs unplugged and plugged in just fine both the same with old sensor minus the check engine light for being unplugged. the new one wont run unless i have it unplugged just cranks and will not fire. it was new sealed in factory ford bag with al same partnumbers as old one i took out. it just wont run the truck. i thought this was a weird thing with a new one not working.

Thanks for posting your solution. Yep hard to believe that a brand new one could be bad but don't feel like the lone ranger, I got a Stancor relay last year same deal bad from the git go.
