The thing i would watch is your transmission if your gonna load it up, and tow a heavy trailer. Keep the fluids fresh and put a temp gauge on it.

X2 for the tranny fluid, is it manual or auto?
and david, id assume that thats more likely a couple hundred thousand miles not 55k (remember, back in the day they didnt make thousand marks on the ODO...)

The M5OD isnt the greatest tranny around, but its not nearly as bad as everyone says it is, i have a URl link for you to look at with an in depth how to on maintence for this tranny to keep it going strong. (Im on my original at over 200,000 miles and thats with powershifting and clutch has only been replaced once at 72,000)
