Power Problems

I have a 2002 f-250, When I put 33% biodiesel mixed with diesel I have problems. I can't get over 40mph. I have changed the fuel filter & it ran fine until it sat overnite. I run 100% biodiesel from the same batch in our other two 2000 f-250s, & they run fine. Is there something in the 2002s thats different? It doesn't have a wait to start, is all I can see.

Thanks
Dave

You should post your questions in the correct forum for your year truck>
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=31

You will still get answers here but there are specific differences in the years (sometimes).

You may have another plugged fuel filter, bio diesel will clean your tanks and and plug filters for a while if there is a build up of crud in the fuel system.

Another item, you stated that you have no WTS light. Check #22 fuse under the hood. If it's blown, you most likely have a fuel heater shorting out. You can unplug it and forget about it. I'm not sure were it's located on a 2002, but on the earlier models it's on the side of the filter housing. Driver side, second connector down.

I would agree with Jim. you should have no problem running that fuel. the 02's are the same as the rest. you probably have a fuel filter plugged or some other restriction in the fuel system.
