Has anyone had thier throttle body leak colant? I'm currently about to go out and bypass the coolant from running though the throttle body. I'll upload pictures here ina min to better explain. I Just noticed this while replaceing the 3/8ths hose that goes int it which you can see in the below pictures. Now this pipe doesn't leak unless I give it gas! IT leaks where the pipe goes into the bottom of the throttle body.
BTW I have a 94 f150 with 302 ATX in it.
Its leaking at the "pipe" going into the bottom of the throttle body. I have boxed in the area where its leaking at below. This is a side shot from the passenger side.
Here is the view from the front.

Thanks nighthawk, I was trying to find that last night but had no luck. I belive I have codes 123 and 125 but im not 100% on that. So I stole my gf digital cam and went outside and make a vid clip. I'm currently uploading the clip as I type. This is my first time reading codes like this.
I have included what the ford fuel injection site stated about those two codes. Now when driving the truck it doesn't want to shift. Unless I get it wound up then let my foot off the gas and then back on it lightly.
Code 123
TP circuit above maximum 4.5 volts.
TPS circuit has intermittently failed above maximum 4.5 volts.
Code 125
TP sensor was lower than expected with the MAF/MAP value in the last 80 drive cycles.
ok Thanks then it was by chance that it went out when it did. I juast wanted to make sure. I'll update this thread when I go to replacing the TPS this sunday.
Thanks for your help guys. I repalced it this saturday without any issues other then the folks at advanced auto parts beind retards. They wanted me to purchase a "throttle body gasket kit" which is like 8 different gaskets which according to them is the only way that I would of recieved teh gasket that I was looking for! Needless to say my local ricezone(autozone) had the gasket for 2 bucks vs 25 or 35 at advanced auto parts.
I still have a hard shift but i'm guessing thats because of the motor and tranny mounts possably being dry rotted. So thats my next project.
Yes I have reset the computer and the trans was jsut flushed a 8 months before I purchased the truck and was only driven a few miles literally sence then. I dont think the truck was driven a over 500 miles in two years so a lot of things are dry rotted on it. I've replaced a bunch of hoses and tires so far. I'm going to replace all vac lines here within a few weeks with the fancey colored crap as my gf calls it. lol
