Thrush mufflers?

Thrush mufflers?
My local Advanced Parts stocks Thrush turbo mufflers for $19 each. Does that sound right? It's so cheap. Any advice on them?
I plan to run duals on my '79 F-250 2wd with a 400. The current exhaust is cobbled together. I plan to dispose of it and run duals from the stock manifolds all the way out to the back. I plan to go with 2 1/2 pipes. Would it clash with the spare tire?
I don't know if I should take it to a muffler shop or do it myself. Suggestions?
