What's your favorite gun?

7mm Rem Mag Ruger M77 Mark II is my main hunting gun.
.300 Savage model 99 is the brush gun, and my favorite. It was my G'pa first new gun, I think I traded him a case of Hamm's for it (see favorite beer forum).
Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag, for fun, home protection, and killing my eardrums.

I have rifles, yes. I would like to get a handgun at some point, probably just get a 9mm semi-auto.
The only rifle I would like to get is a semi-auto 308 with a scope.
Slight cleanup, but might be better off dumping this whole thing, and trying again-

Thanks Jared for deleting my post
You want a 9mm handgun? You've prolly shot it many times and it's an excellent balance between accuracy/stopping power vs size/weight -- there's a shooting range on North Whidbey we could shoot a few handguns during the G2G to help make your final choice.

I only shoot varmints, lol. We'll get to know each other at the G2G...
As a young sailor I used our .50 cal mounted on the USS Kitty Hawk on Yankee station, and years later during a stint as a landlocked sailor the M-60 (7.62mm) in Marine tactics training in Saudi. (Was getting too old for that krap.) Both are a lot of "fun" but those .50cal rounds are so danged powerful I'd only use them in war or punching through trees to get at the durned wily coyotes.
Anybody use a .50cal now? Target-shooting must be real expensive!
