rear differential leaking
There is a little bit of oil coming out of my rear differential.
My understanding is to simply unbolt the cover, drain the oil, make a new seal with RTV, bolt it back up, and replace the oil.
Is that correct?

I used the "right stuff" to reseal my meatball...Worked great, apply let set for about 30 mins, then install cover.
No leaks.

Tag on the diff. Give us the numbers...Use The right stuff but put the cover on right after you squeeze it out. Stuff comes in a cheese wiz can..Don't put on crackers.
Use synthetic 75-140. Tag has LS or L on it for Limited slip rears..other silicones are crap compared to the right stuff...
