surprise!

hey guys , i came home yesterday and the man i bought my 51 from had brought the passenger rear fender to me, he said he didnt know where it was, long and short - it was at the body shop - blasted and repaired.

yeah , he even brought the brackets, his brother has some other stuff he bought for it i am supposed to get it when he locates it. the guy i got it from sold a friend of mine a 57 apache, gave him extra fnders and a steering column from ididit.

That's pretty cool of him...I don't know how many times I've bought stuff and "I'll find it later for you" were the last words spoken...in all of my cases, nothing was ever found.

no 429 , but he is trying to sell a 350 mighty hard. that is why i saved the f-1 , he was gonna do a heart transplant from another species. i am gonna put a good ol 351w in and call it a day( about 2-3 years from now) , already have the engine lined up, 3 speed with a 9 inch rear 2:18 gear. cruisin

Man you are Lucky, I am 1 1/2 yrs into the waiting for my Carburator and other parts that I have more or less forgotten about, OH well, crongrats.

i just have a good bunch of guys in my chapter(nc) and we help each other out as much as possible. i hope to order all my rubber and floor pans this summer and maybe drive next year, my nephews fiance wants to leave the wedding in june 08 in my truck. hope to be done by then. wife permitting.
