man thts just plain crazy to pay tht much money for a lift if all you want to do is level yh truck.Go down to your local spring shop and talk to them about new coils. When I did mine for around $200 and got all the front lift I needed to level the front with the back. The guy here sold me what he called ambulance package spring and they were well worth the money.

So all you did was get the ambulance coil springs for the front and that's it?? Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. When my shocks go, I'll get the upgraded springs, too. Thanks for the heads up!
Sorry for bringing up an older thread but....
I'm now curious about the ambulance package springs. Is that all you had to do? With the design of the front suspension, without a camber kit, it would introduce a severe positive camber situation, which looks bad for one thing, and for another, is hell on ball joints. I may try jacking the truck up by the center crossmember tomorrow, and using the caster/camber gauge to feel this out.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a $200 solution instead of $1300, but, like I said, just a hair curious
well after I put the springs in i took it to a buddys shop who checked the alignment then sent me to nappa to get the part to adjust for the camber. Then back to the shop for the alignment and the job was complete.Cant remember for the life of me what the part number was though actaully 2 parts as the driver side was different than the passenger side I think it was around $20 per side.
Thanks. I thought you may have to buy a camber kit. Through work they're about $23 each side, not too bad. Did it level the truck? This is looking better to me, as I love the truck, but, with the nose down so far, I can't get traction because theres no weight transfer, and last winter, I got stuck in my driveway. Yea, lost's of torque and no traction equals no go. Thanks again.
It was good for somewhere around 2.5 inches althoughthe front springs that were there were sagged bad.gave me a level stance untill a few months later when I did the rear because of rear lopsided stance. then the truck was no longer quite level but nowhere near stock rake which is somewhere around 2.5 inches ibelieve it is now about 1.5 inches.the truck does hook up better but still way easy to braek traction. But for me was money WELL spent.
