For the past few years my rear window motor for my 1981 Ford Bronco has been moving up and down very slow, so i decided to go out and buy a new motor now i am struggling to get the old one out and the new one in. Is there any tips or secrets that anyone cold offer as to hw to install the motor. Thanks

There may not be anything wrong with the motor.I pulled mine apart and found the sliders in the rails gunked up and one was bent.Fixed those and window is back to being zippy.
I'll echo the gunked up track inside the tailgate. If your motor is working, don't replace it!!! Take off the access panel, clean out the tracks, then apply white lithium grease to the gears and tracks. That should help speed it up.
My motor was working on mine but the gear was broken in like 3 places. I replaced it with a Ford's replacement. This one was solid! Why couldn't the engineers have figured that out the first time? NORM
