Can someone help me decode the vin on my 56 Mercury M100?
I'm trying to plate it and the public insurance company is telling my agent that it's a 57.I know the difference between a 56 and 57.The vin also matches the number on the frame so I know that it has never been changed on the body.Which number is the year?Or can you direct me to a web site that I can print something out for proof?Thanks
