I bought a brand new '06 Screw 4x4 Lariat with 88 miles 3 weeks ago for under $28K at one of the local dealers. Pickin's are slim but you might be able to find an '06 new for around the same price.
I agree, that sounds high but you never know, the sticker price could have been $43K new. Now it doesn't seem so high. Maybe try to get the sticker on it that lists the options and go from there.
I'm going to look at it in a few hours, this Truck was a Fleet vehicle traded in for something else.
I do have a Trade-in to offer (06 Toyotta Corolla-S) with only 6000 miles on it, but I won't mention it until I see what I can get the Trucks price down to.
Obviously if I like the Truck and everything works out...I'm thinking my car with some cash and I'll drive it home today.
*My other option...I can go to a Dealer Auction (Manheim) with a friend who owns a New Chrysler Delership and get one that way.
Well I just got back, sorry to say I didn't care for the Truck all that much.
The XLT Trim Level is a little too plain looking for my liking, maybe because the Gray Color both inside and out...it was just blah looking.
It was clean but, the drivers side seat with only 14,000 miles on it was crushed on the left side, obviously from someone sliding off the seat a lot!
Also had a stain right in the middle of the passenger seat.
where are you located....Lancaster, pa.....i'm in berks county and the Manheim auction has many good deals to be had....
I'm down my the Philly Internationa Airport, just a few minutes off I-95. During my Big-Rig Car Hauling days I picked up hundreds of cars from Manheim... it's not all that far from me.
As mentioned prior, I have a friend who ownes a Chrysler Dealership, he said I could go with him on a Friday to see what's going through the Auction. This maybe a good option.
