I agree!! They (the drivers) have a job to do! 120,000 plus fans every week, not to include TV. Its a show! fans want to see racing! stop the whining and get to racing. all the cars equal. all the racers on an equal plain. You think with all the complaining that they don't get paid!! want to trade places, I think not! (Its a job of a life time) So.......Buck up, Show me what I came to pay for!!
Nascar introduced a new style of race car at the Bristol race track last Sunday. Its not set in stone just yet, There trying to keep all the cars equal,... height, body stlye, length. I think there ten new cars in the race, It was just to check them out.

Boogity boogity boodity Boys Lets Go Race'n
I agree. I say the drivers should shut up and do their jobs. I honestly think that most of them have no idea just how good they have it. Id love for my job to be to take a 750 hp car and push it to it's limits for 4 hours every weekend.
i do not pay attention to nascar anymore.
it is nothing more than a bunch of crybabies out for a Sunday drive anymore.
and i think it is staged anymore.

First of all, drivers haven't been complaining much about one make having an advantage over another for a few years now. Sure, the Dodge boys had a bit of a beef over the nose of last year's so-called Charger (I don't blame them too much, that thing was flat and vertical, and picked up every bit of trash on the track...) but for the most part NASCAR had already made the cars pretty much the same body-wise.
The COT is definitely a step forward in terms of safety, but time well tell when it comes to what it does for, or to, the racing. I'm not fond of the look, and I hate the wing. Personally, I'd rather see them use the new chassis and wrap them with sheetmetal from the days of REAL racing...the sixties and seventies! Naw....it'd never sell...lol
As for NASCAR being staged... I aint' buyin' it. Yes, it's definitely a show. That's why it's gained it's popularity. But when those drivers get on the track, they're racing. These guys want to race or they wouldn't be where they are.

All 43 of cars in the race sunday were COT's. the COT is here to stay, whether we or the drivers like it or not. they will race a few races with it this year, and talking about changing over to it for the full season next year so teams wouldn't have to race two different style cars during the season, saving them money.

OK....My bad! I thought there only 10 COT's, I got it from pre-race on speed channel.

How else do you explain all the debris cautions that just happen to occur at a critical time during the race?
NASCAR is fixed, sorry, but it is.

Granted, on a few occasions there have been questionable "debris cautions", but not nearly as many late caution flags are questionable as many people would like to believe. Even so, bunching up the field near the end of the race will not "fix" the outcome. Manipulation for a more exciting finish, perhaps (which I certainly do not agree with...) but even NASCAR cannot pre-set a finishing order or tell the teams where they're supposed to wind up. That is absolute rubbish.
BTW...If you're so anti-NASCAR why did you even bother reading and posting on this thread?
It has been proven that nascar will try to make the finish a good one if it looks like it is going to be a yawner. They do this by throwing a "debris" caution, which bunches up the field for the last few laps of the race. do I agrree with this? no,I think if a driver was good enough to get a 3 second lead on the rest of the pack,he deserves to win the race,no matter how boring the finish would be. I also don't believe they "fix" the race so the driver they want to win will win, that is almost impossible.
