I am being told that my 2003 expy will not have stored codes unless the check engine light is on. It keeps hesitating on acceleration, and I do not have any lights on yet. Will it show something?
My '03 will store codes without the check engine light coming on. I keep getting P0305 and P0316. I will clear them and in a few days or weeks they will return.
I just wish I could clear the engine miss as easy as I can clear the codes.
I'll check that harness. I also loose my fuel pressure within a few minutes after I shut it off, so that may contribute to the problem. I have to cycle my switch at least three times to get it to start. I haven't checked to see if it is a bad injector or the fuel pump leaking back.
I don't drive it much anymore. It has been sitting for a month without leaving the yard. I did move it once.
I was using the Expy to pull my car trailer, but I bought a (don't flame me) Dodge 2500 pickup with the V-10 to pull with now. Much, much more power, same gas mileage.
It's a fairly low mileage '94, and being a dealer I got it so cheap I can't bear to wear out my Expy doing the grunt work.
