Talking MPRB 4" Installation

Installed my 4 inch exhaust today. Most of today. It was a pain in the backside to do. I've heard so many on here say how easy it was. That wasn't my experience. The hangers on the truck didn't match up with the hangees on the pipes very well. I had to move one forward a ways and just lucked out finding holes in the frame to use. Maybe I'm just getting old. I admit I'm no machanic but I have spent a good bit of time under the shade tree and this was a difficult exhaust change. However, the good news is that I got it on and it seems to be OK. Drove over a couple bumps just to see what happened and everything held together. The intake and the exhaust are now pretty wide open and I'm going guage shopping right now. Stand by Mr. Jody!!!!!

The hangars didn't line up???? That's odd. Mine slipped right in. The only thing I had to do was wiggle the downpipe a bit to make sure the midpipe cleared the transmission crossmember bolt. That and I had no help installing the downpipe, so bungee cord came in handy.

I had no problems today with my 4" SS MBRP. I followed the instructions, and everything lined up fine. Looks great & sounds great! The only thing I did slightly different from the instructions was to line up & mark the extention pipe instead of taking their word for the length to cut off. Glad I did because I cut off less than the 16" they instructed.

Next is gauges, then DP...
