ok so the other day i was driving and the check engine light just came on. the truck runs fine and everything seems to have no problem. i was wondering if ford has it set to come on when u reach 35000 miles. does anybody know if this is true?

The light only comes on when there is a problem. You can get the codes pulled at Autozone.
it has stayed on for the past two days. i went to auto zone to use there scanner but they wanted a 150$ deposit and i didn't have that kind of money. i will just take it to the dealer where i bought it
I read the 121 code as Throttle Position Senor (TPS) voltage does not agree with Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
172 = System adaptive fuel too rich (bank 1)
Your TPS is on the throttle body. The MAF sensor is in the air tube, just past the air filter.
