Hey Guys, Just here to ask you guys how much you love your 7.3L! How many miles you have on your truck? How much do you recommend a Powerstroke? Its a random question but its to prove a point lol.
Well, I don't know where this one is going but I feel like I have bought my last truck. I have close to 60k on the clock, wanted a 4x4 that could do it all and feel like I have that. Have had it for about 5 years and it still looks and runs like new. OK, I lied, since being here, it runs far better than new.
This is my second 7.3 PSD I looked for 8 months to find this dually it has every thing I was wanting . I plan on having this truck a loooooong looooooong time I bought Dec 28 2007 with 122000 miles and have been tweaking it since I got her home. I preach the word of FORD & PSD's to all . Just gotta love it .
Bought my First Super Duty almost 3 years ago with 112,000 miles and have since put and additional 130,000+ miles on it. I absolutely love my truck. Tough as nails, easy to work on, lots of mods that can be done, Interior space is perfect, looks good, sounds good, is paid for and a lot of other little things. The 7.3 is great, but that is not what makes the truck. It is the whole truck as a package that is so awesome. To this day I look forward to driving it every time I get a chance.
Love mine too, had it roughly 2 years, and it will be paid off in less than a year, even before I graduate from college. I also tell my dad that if the motor blows, I'll rebuild it better than it was and continue to drive it. I will have this truck for a long time!!!
I'm on my 3rd diesel (since 1982) and the one I have now will be in the family for many years to come. My sons are fighting over who Gets it when I'm done with it. 198K on my 96 and don't plan on either one of the boys getting it anytime soon. Now, If I could turn back the clock on the body rot starting to show (damn MI winters). The drive train is stronger now than when it was new!
I bought my truck new in '99. It will be in my drive way till after I'm gone, then it will be up to the wife. She has 183000 on her and still runs like the day I bought her.
love it and don't look back! I would hate to have to drive a gas engine truck now. even with fuel $.30 higher than gasoline! Homebrew BD coming SOON!!!

Let me know how it goes. Thinking about it when I get down to the lower 48. I too am on my 3 diesel, first a dodge, then a 2000 7.3, now a 2003 7.3 with 50,000 miles. Wouldn't trade it for the world, thought I was looking at a 03 cobra the other day....
