Question

I got a 91 ford explorer 4.0 auto 4wd and i was woundering if i could put a 351 winsor engine in it ,would i have enough room for it as well

sure you can,might take a bit of cutting and chopping but it can be done.I have a friend with one in a ranger .

ok thats good but what would i have to cut?? the fender's and the wheel well?and would i have to change the wireing at all or could i keep the old one in it

Well from what i have seen on his truck he did have to remodel the wheelwell and im not to quite sure on the wireing ,never even thought to look or ask,i was just amased that he got it in there.

answer:

sounds like a lot of work for not much gain.

truck will handle different, things may or may not work, hard to smog in most states and will probably be hard to sell.

don't do it.

just my 2¢.
