Engine blocks question...
What year trucks had the E7TE blocks... Did all the E7TE blocks have pistons with valve reliefs built into them?

No, HO motors did, trucks used dished pistons, but the end result is the same.. more valve clearance than a true flat top.

So if a engine with E6SE heads shouldn't have dished pistons right? Just trying to figure out if the previous owner threw on some heads because that's all he had at the time...
