is this a 351 or 302. the e7 head will get you more power for sure on a 302 if this is a 351 don't bother because the e7 for a 302 is to restrictive as it is
it is a 351w it had e5te heads on it and i had a pair of e7 from a 5.0 machinedup and put a crane cam in it for my new build its carb as well if that makes any difference
i think e7's will hold you back if they came from a 302 unless you do some porting an pollishing to them. they blow for 302's and would really suck on a 351. go to this site and check out his e7 heads. i bought a set and they flow way better and realy look good. www.thumperoforangepark.com
The E5 heads have more restrictive exhaust ports as opposed to the E7's with a larger "thermactor-bumps". Intake ports are the same and I think the combustion chambers are bigger at like 64cc's. Aside from the vintage 351 windsor heads and the gt40's on the fox-chassis cobra, the E7 heads are the best windsor casting. After 1977 351w used the same heads as the 302 eccept for the bigger bolt holes. The e7's will work fine on the 351, they are way better than the E5's.
