Well I totally understand what your saying, but dont know where the eec or the clutch switch is. I will look at the truck & see if its in the cab under the dash, by the firewall at the clutch master cyl or by the other thing down by the clutch fork cyl (if that makes any sense)lol. I'll see if I see any wires at any of those 3 locations. Oh by the way I wish you lived closer. I'd hit ya up. LOL. I wish someone that understood these fords better than me lived by me. I love hanging out & figuring stuff out, & drinking beer. Thanks Todd.

What year is the truck in question? If it's 1990 or newer, there is no switching valve. The supply and return lines each have a tee going to each pump. Switching is achieved by whichever pump is active supplying pressure and opening a check valve for the return fuel. So removal of one tank would require fuel lines from a single tank truck, or somehow blocking off the lines of the removed tank. It's best to just leave it the way it came.
