Just a tip regarding the cat issue...
Might want to look at a MagnaFlow Direct-Fit catalytic converter. They are available from Summit...and I think they will ship to AK.
I understand the OEM pricing, so MagnaFlow is a good alternative.

You did a fuel psi test underload while driving ?
Being the quality of our fuel nowadays its possible that the pump sock in the tank is clogged or the pump is going bad.
and has the epc pressure been chk at the tranny?

Check out Jeg's as well they can be quite a bit cheaper than Summit. I bought my cat from Jeg's and saved $30 over Summits price. www.jegs.com
No big deal about punching out cats. During the 70's and 80's it was a common occurance around here.

just recieved a new tool, TRAN X 2000. IT CAN TEST ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF THE TRANNY. ALREADY HAVE THE PRESSURE GAUGES. i am going to have fun with this. it can test them on the bench!! as soon as i can get the truck back in the shop i will thoroughly check it out again. thanks for all the feedback guys.

Dang it! LISSEN UP..... quit tossing your money at all the fancy dancy doo dads... most of the time they are just hyped up crapola! The Factory MotorCraft stuff WORKS! and it is not dramatically more expensive...in many cases it is much less expensive

I know it's tough to believe that a brand-new "whatever" that you just installed is bad. Even more difficult to find that 60% of "whatever" was bad.

As we all have said before 75% of this aftermarket crap is not worth the time an effort to install it.
Wish we would have known ,might have been able to save you some grief.

I'm really shocked that 6 out of 10 would have failed so soon. I have just scratched Accel off the list of good parts. Thanks for reporting back with the fix.
