I cant find clear tail lenses for 80-96 truck. I don't want altezza's. I just want clear lenses to put colored bulbs in. Found them for 79 back, but nothing newer. Any ideas, I've looked everywhere.

These are all I could find, the plain clear we never DOT legal. Even some of the ones with red weren't. As I understand it, the companies importing them are trying to comply with the law and only bring in/make legal taillights. Sence that requires some new molds, availablity will be severly limited.
I'm sorry sir, are those part numbers? If so, where can I see them? I guess the proper question is- where did you find them? Thanks a million. I'd almost given up hope.
Yes those are manufactures, part number and description. We have to $10K business for our look up, but you should be able plug those numbers into the drivers FX online store. Try http://www.driverfx.com
The first number worked, the second didn't. But those look like the altezza style. I've found tons of those. The lights I want look like the little reverse square at the bottom of a stock tail light. The whole thing is clear/white, not just the little square. Then you put the red 1157 bulb in it. I have almost given up, however I did buy a pair of new ones, 87 and up, smooth, and I am going to try a light powder blast on them, going for a frosted look.
I remember those clear/white tailights, they were all the rage back in the '90s. I'd love to find a pair for my E350. Those altezza red tails look so cheesy. The only altezza tail I'd buy would be the new LED style. The rest look like they belong on a spaceship or a riceburner.

You mean lights like these?
This is the 2nd set I have owned of these lights. I got this set from a friend, and I currently use Leds I got from the superbrightleds.com site. I cant remember where I got the 1st set. I was using the red bulbs but they kept fading to white and I was getting pulled over all the time so I sold them. I looked all over the place and can't find them anywhere on the web. I haven't been stopped yet, the leds work much better than the dyed bulbs.
Not bad looking. I'm suprised you dont' get pulled over for them though. As far as I know you are supposed to have a red reflector at the back corner of your vehicle, and yellow reflectors on the front.
I have been pulled over once so far. It was because the 3 little red lights on my bumper, the cop said the red light made it difficult to read my license plate. He didn't say anything about the other lights.
Yes Sycostang-those are exactly what I was looking for and found. They even had the 80-86 style too. Theirs do have red reflectors in them. Check them out. How did you do the LED trick? Did you buy a wire in replacement "socket"? If so, where did you find it? Thanks for all the help guys-I really don't like the latest style of aftermarket lights.
