Can anyone give me the fixes or possible fixes for these code's I'm getting on my 1993 302?
Code 55: Open connection in Keypower circuit or electrical charging voltage too low.
Code 56: Mass Air Flow(MAF) sensor or Vane Air Flow(VAF) sensor voltage signal too high, or Electronic 4-speed Overdrive Automatic Transaxle(E4OD)Transmission Oil Temperature(TOT)sensor signal voltage is too high.
Code 65: Electrical charging system problem occured-voltage too high(over 17.5 volts), or Engine control system never went into closed loop fuel operation, or Transaxle problem-Overdrive cancel switch(OCS) was not cycled during Engine Run self test.
This is a new short block(12,000 miles)in the truck now. The last motor detonated the 8th piston. I hear a little pinging now under de-accel and the accel. It lack's power sporadically also. The plugs are relatively white. I've put about 4,000 mile's on the new motor. I've replaced the alternator,PS pump, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, fuel pump,Knock sensor, starter. I've also deleted the emmissions crap. Any help or suggestion's would be greatly appreciated!!!Thanks, sorry so long. RYAN

I have not erased the codes, I'm not ever sure how to. The codes are KOEO. THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY! I just remember hearing the pinging before the last motor took a crap. Just don't want it to happen again. Also threw a fuel pressure gauge(autometer) on it, it read around 30 psi at idle and around 39-41 during accel.
