removed lund sunvisor...

Now after I weld/glue the screw holes shut, is there any recomendations on what I could use for body filler on the top of the cab, I have had thin coats of bondo crack on similar area's due to it being on such a flexible panel. Not that looks are a major concern on my truck, I just don't want blemishes to constantly remind me of that milage stealing windcatcher. Thanks in advance!!!

Tiger Hair or any short strand fibreglass filler should work well for what you need, if you plugweld the holes in and grind them back well, you could just use Evercoat flexible filler also. Either one will work and give you a long lasting repair.

Sounds good, anything with flexible in the name sounds like what I want. i'm not all that keen on glass fillers. my problem before using bondo was it cracked directly around where the hole was plugged. I'm just glad to be rid of the visor!

Any auto body / paint supply store usually. Rage Gold is good.

Alright so strip entire roof, plug holes use some filler on them and other nasty rust bubbles, cut big sunroof hole, prime, and then give it all a generous coating of rubberized rocker guard.

If you don't want to use a rubberized rocker guard, you can always use a roll on bedliner, durable, with rust inhibitors built in.
