I am getting a strange noise from the right side of my truck. It is almost like a lifter but not has the classic tik tik tik. My shop thought the noise was the belt tensioner, so they replaced the tensioner, idle pully and belt. Noise is back this morning. They had mentioned this truck is known to make noises with the timing chain and guides. The odd part is the noise will increase with rpm, but is not alway present. Sometimes I hear it sometimes not. Also you can only hear it at idle and just above idle. Truck have 200K on it. Any help thanks in advance.
