f150 4x4 compared to a F250, payload

I have a 1990 F150 4x4. Bought it last year and it's in the shop now getting ready to be put to work. I am new to the truck world, sort of. I just use them for work and I have been in business for 3 years now, but I was never a truck enthusiast, a few years ago when I started my business. I realized how useful they are, now I can never be without one. They're essential for my business but I just love trucks now, hahaha! Anyway, I read somewhere that the F150 4x4s have heavy duty leaf springs like in the F250s. Is this true? What are the other main differences between 150s and 250s(besides the engines)? This is a work truck and I would like to know more about what is is capable of in terms of ruggedness and payload, I don't expect it to get treated as rough as my 250 dodge, but still, what are the main differences? Hope this makes for some interesting discusion at the least.
