Window Switch problem.

The switch that controls my drivers window is not working right. At first it was not going up when the switch was pressed. I pushed it a little to hard and now I have to press the button hard to get it to go down.
How hard is it to change?
Is there a Recall or tsb that I could refer to when talking to the dealer?
Any help would be appreciated!

This is your 2005 150? How many miles on truck? Still under 36,000? Take it to dealer if it is still under 3-36. Otherwise, the switch bottons are pretty easy to replace.

I have not heard of any recall/TSB for that particular issue. The lights inside are known for going out, but I haven't heard of any "electrical" issues as you've described.

Yeah the switch problem is on the '05 150 however, I have passed the factory warranty. So I guess I will pulling the door panel to get to the switch. I guess thats how to get to them. We have an expedition at work that has the same problem but it was still under warranty. Just my luck.

You should only have to pull the switch bezel to replace the sw. itself. I think I have an xtra sw. here somewhere... I don't think I paid more than 25-30 bux for the main driver side combo switch.
