turbo code

i have a 97 f-250 powerstroke and today i went to install a edge chip in it and ran the diagnostics first to see if there were any problems and it is running a code of P0236. which is turbo boost sensor A circuit range performance. what exactly does that mean? and how would i go about fixing it?

If their isnt any noticable problems I would erase the code and scan it again next oil change. The code could be years old.....
