Tire Upgrade

I have a 2001 Stock Ford Excursion XLT 4x4 / V-10 engine. I want to install 4 Michelin 285/75/R16 Tires on the stock rims that came with the excursion. What's on the excursion now is Pirelli Scorpions A/T. Will the Michelin Tires fit on there without any rubbing or modifying the stock way it is now. Thank's alot for any info. that you can give me. Newbie in Iowa.<o

We have 285/75-16 Yokohama's on stock rims on my wife's 2000 Ex Limited, with no rubbing or other issues.

federal you can go up to a 33" tire with a stock 4x4 X as long as springs and shocks are in good condition. I would suggest a 31" for pricing reasons. I used to run 33" E grade firestones for a long time.
