Yes, you will need to modify the linkage though. It's pretty straightforward.

If you have a stock drive shaft then it will need to be changed for this swap.
Not a big deal, a machine shop can fix you up fairly quickly.

Once the engine/trans is in the correct place carefully measure the distance from the end of the transmisson output shaft to the pinion yoke.
A quaified machine shop will be able to do the rest according to these measurements. Not a problem for them, this is a common every day procedure for them.

Driveshaft measuring

Go to this website, http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/html...o_measure.html

They have a pretty good explanation as to how to measure.

anyone know if there are any stock or custom PRE-made driveshafts that would fit?

If you take the measurements you can always try locating a junkyard shaft that matches. You may have to swap around tranny yokes though.

C4 does not have OD . I am using a AOD. It is a four speed overdrive. Very common in Mustangs and Marks and and and.

I believe they are both 4 speed auto but one is heavier duty. The six of course. You want a AOD It is a four speed with over drive. My is out of a Mark.
I know they had some trouble with the c4 in the ford vans, but I haven't heard of any trouble with the c6. I am a cruiser and not a rodder so I want the od. (Not that I wouldn't spin the tires a little now and again)
