Just to clarify, cuz it seems so simple...are you "Black58" saying that 3rd gear in the c6 is 1:1?

Yeah thats what I've been told anyway. The C 4 is the same.

I think you're right, at least in some applications. I just think of the 351w as the top end of the small block v8 spectrum, hence its mention.

Some guys will argue differently, it doesn't really matter to me, but I tend to consider the 351w the top of the small block, and the 351c the bottom of the big block, so when I think small block that's what I think of and that's why I mentioned it.
