fuel gauge
what causes my fuel gauge to jump up and down erratically,when its low and I come to a stop it goes crazy

My guess would be the sending unit/float. I bought a sending unit from ford for about 60 and it came with a new float too. Im not positive that this would solve your problem but maybe someone else knows.
