Automatic OD w/ a 360
I own a '76 F250 2wd with a 360 and a 4 speed manual. I was wondering if some one could tell me if there is an auto tranny with over drive that will bolt to a 360. If not, what non OD tranny and bolt on OD could I use. Thanks

You would have a couple of options but they are going to be expensive which ever way you look at it.
An AOD transmission will work if you buy an adapter plate to fit your 360. The adapter plate alone is $750, see here http://www.transmissioncenter.net/aod.htm
Remember, the Stock AOD tranny was primarily made for the 302.
You could also get a C4 or a C6 transmission with the right bell housing to bolt up to your 360 and then go with the gearvenders OD unit. Very expensive unit, but reputible. see here http://gearvendors.com/
Or you if you wanted to keep a manual tranny and go with a 5 speed you could give these guys a call: http://www.high-impact.net/transmiss...tm#stick_trans
