360 to C4 Transmission

Im gunna be dropping a 1969 360ci engine in my 1974 F-100 and i was wondering if the 360 will bolt up to the C4 3speed tranny thats in it right now there is a 300ci inline on the tranny right now.

You will need a adapter. Total performance has one. www.tperformance.com You will have to call. I don't think it's on their site.

Someone does make an FE bellhousing for a C4 though, maybe Performance Automatic:

hey bud

i have a 74 f100 also i curently have a 302 in it wit a 3 speed on the colmn. lol im lookin at droppin a 460 in it. why are you goin with a 360? any specific reason or is it just avaliable?

i know the 360 would be an upgrade from the 300I6, but gas milleage will be worse, i think id go with a 390 but if the 360 is available and money is tight go for it, and also an upgrade to a C6 tranny would be better.
