hey all
i have a 78 f-150 4x4 style side. my question is when i go to repaint is there a better way other than leaving them off to attach the side trim pieces that go the length of the truck to stop them from rusting? i like them and think it gives the truck appeal but the brackets seem to rust no matter what. any ideas like using all stainless which still will run down the sides. i live in upper michigan so salt is big.
use por 15 products. study up on them and apply as directed. They have products to cover whatever it is you want to do to include applying clears after killing, transforming and treating rust.
good stuff...there are other product lines out there that are as good if not better at certain things but none I am aware of that do s many things...look on ebay or their site..also check out eastwood (sponsor) their one of the companies that does some limited things as good or better.
I have to totally agree with roger. I haven't tried any of the other products so I can't attest to just how good they are, but I have used the por-15 and it does what it claims. A+ if you ask me.
