Cranks but won't fire

Have a 96 F350 with 310,000 on it. Replaced engine 10,000 miles ago with one with 96,000 on it. Installed a 75hp. plug in chip in the computer, probably a couple thousand miles ago. Worked good. I have been having starting issues with it since I put the engine in. You have to keep it plugged in all the time and after you do start it, it won't run on all eight cylinders until it is up to temp. and then runs really well. Cylinder contribution tests pass with it warm but will pick up a couple bad injectors when its cold. Tried starting it the other day and it started to fire but the second time I turned the key, it just cranked and wouldn't attempt to fire. Put my scanner on it and got some weird codes. U3FFA, U3F7C, U3F7D, U3F7E Not your usual codes. Called the dealer and they had no clue but said to take the chip back out and them try it. Thats easy for them to say. You have to pull the left front wheel and drop the inner fender down to get to the controller. And I don't think anything different will come up after pulling the chip but that's the first thing the dealer is going to do if we take it there. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dealer is correct. Pull the chip.
Those look like IBM CHARMAP codes.

You should be able to just take the drivers side kick panel off and then the E-brake and reach in pull the chip off of the PCM.

yep chip will come out as plowhand has said. and as the dealer said pull it first then see what happens. the starting issue prior to the no start (hard starting) sounds like a glow plug issue or low compression issue.

I talked to my brother in law that works on these trucks in a fuel shop and he had me check for oil in the high pressure pump reservoir. Stuck a screw driver in and it came out dry. He said to fill it up and then try it. It started, so now I need to find out where the oil is leaking off too. I'm letting it sit over night to see if it leaks externally anywhere. Don't think it is. With the engine warm and letting it sit for say 10 - 15 minutes it cranks over too much before the ICP pressure comes up and things fire. As far as glow plugs, they were new when I put the engine in 10,000 miles ago.
