When I called the tech at Pro Comp I asked if 4 Wheel Parts was a part of Pro Comp and he told me no. He also told me of two places I can purchase Pro Comp products from. I had to call 4 wheel parts and tell them the tech advised me to upgrade not replace. 4 Wheel Parts gave me a run around so Pro Comp took care of the problem. Every time I called 4 Wheel Parts they pushed Pro Comp products. I just purchased the rims for my larger tires this week and I got Pro Comp rims but not from 4 Wheel Parts! Every 3 to 6 month I will purchase parts to lift my truck. In a year or so then I will have everything.

Technically, that's true. 4WP is not a part of Pro Comp. If you had asked the tech if 4WP and Pro Comp were owned by the same parent company (Transamerican) and the tech said no, he would've been wrong.

If you have the means, there are far better lift manufacturer's out there. Donahoe Racing, Rize, Full-Traction, Fabtech, etc. . . And far better shocks, Bilstein, Fox, King, Sway-A-Way, etc. . . I would consider talking to Truck Toyz (look at the site sponsor list on the left of the screen for their website) in the future. These guy's have an excellent reputation on the board and will take care of you. 4WP has some excellent deals, but you need to know EXACTLY what you need, to include the P/N, before you talk to them, and any advise you're given by them should always be researched and corroborated, before it's believed.

Thanks EnviroCon! Now I will look into them before I purchase my lift. As for Pro Comp that dose not surprise me. I knew something was up when 4 Wheel Parts pushed Pro Comp.

I agree that it sounds like Procomp is doing the best they can. The retailer on the other hand should be handling this much better.

skirk i would also check out KORE for a lift for your truck they have some of the best stuff in the industry, i have a buddy who put a KORE lift set up on his dodge, yeah i know dodge..., anyway he had a sick setup that he could pound and it looked absolutly amazing. Kore specializes in the larger trucks like the 3500 and the F350, so they are a great group to buy from, i think they are a site sponsor but im not sure

ah its too bad they dont already have one, their stuff is pretty intense, but i guess its good cuz your not buying now anyway! but yeah i had a bad deal with 4wheel parts as well, they arent the most reliable way to order parts, they ordered the completly wrong set of wheels for me, i ordered black powder coated pro comps and they sent chrome mags, i was like what the hell!? so yeah i know where your coming from dude!
