99 f250 transfercase
i have 99 f250 w/ 7.3 PSD 4x4. it will not switch into 4x4 low or high. it has a on the dash switch.i pulled the switch out to check for power and there is none, but all fusses are good. so checked the plug on the transfer case and when i touched one of the prongs on the plug with my test light it made it switch into gear.so i had my daughter get in the truck and flip the switch in to 2wd then i hit the plug with the test light it then switched into 2wd.did the same agian for 4wd low and high and it engages every time by grounding out with the test light but it wont switch other wise. COULD ANY BODY HELP. dont know what to check next.
